Installation, sculpture, film and performance. A warning structured around Samuel Coleridge's 'The Rime of the Ancient Mariner' where you become the Ancient Mariner. The ship has been switched for a tunnel/shelter, and the sea for land.
The work expresses inseparable links between ecocide and genocide, forcing the public on hands and knees through what they think is a tunnel whilst being pressured by rotten media, to then, unbeknownst to them, trample over a monoculture of sculptural sentient dried banana skins and 32,000 names face down and partially washed, people who have died in recent attacks.
Interactive sun powered robot replicant insects were added to the installation in week two, as an attempt to fix a situation - but to no avail.
